Levels
Levels
XP for chatting, roles for climbing, and a leaderboard for bragging.
Members earn XP for talking. Enough XP is a level, and a level can hand out a role.
How XP works
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| XP per message | 15 to 25 | Random amount inside the range |
| Cooldown | 60s | Only the first message in the window counts |
| Announce | On | Level-up message, in the channel or a fixed one |
| Excluded | Empty | Channels and roles that earn nothing |
Bots never earn XP, and an excluded channel also covers its threads.
Rewards
In Dashboard > Levels > Rewards you attach a role to a level. Rewards are highest only: reaching the next tier swaps the old role for the new one, so nobody walks around wearing the whole ladder.
Fenrai's role must sit above every reward role, otherwise Discord blocks the change.
Commands
| Command | What it shows |
|---|---|
/rank | Level, XP progress bar and server rank, for you or another member |
/leaderboard | Top 10, sorted by XP or by message count |
The same leaderboard lives in Dashboard > Levels > Leaderboard.
Turning it on
Dashboard > Levels > Settings, enable, save. Existing members start from zero.
