Streamer Alerts
Announce in a Discord channel the moment a followed streamer goes live.
Follow a Twitch, YouTube or Kick channel and Fenrai posts in your server when that channel goes live, with the stream title, a link and an optional role ping.
Setup
Dashboard > Streamer Alerts: paste the channel link or the handle, pick the platform if a bare handle does not say which one it is, then choose the channel to announce in. A role to mention and a custom message are optional.
A pasted link already carries its platform, so twitch.tv/name, youtube.com/@name and
kick.com/name are all resolved without picking anything.
The message
The default message is {streamer} is live on Twitch!, prefixed with the role you chose to
mention. Write your own and these placeholders are filled in:
| Placeholder | What it becomes |
|---|---|
{streamer} | The channel's display name |
{title} | The title of the running stream |
{url} | A direct link to the stream |
{category} | The game or category, where known |
{role} | The mention of the role you picked |
Every alert also carries an embed with the stream title, thumbnail, category and viewer count where the platform reports them.
How it behaves
- Channels are checked about once a minute, so an alert lands shortly after the stream starts.
- One alert per stream, per server. Following a channel that is already live announces once, never again for that same stream.
- A channel followed by several servers is checked once and announced everywhere.
- Turning a follow off keeps its configuration, so you can pause a streamer without redoing it.
Limits
How many streamers a server can follow depends on its plan. See pricing for the current per-plan number.
